The Selphyl™ System is a three step process that's quick and easy. It involves taking a small sample of your blood, separating the platelet rich plasma from the other blood cells, then activating the plasma components fibrin and platelets into something called platelet rich fibrin matrix (PRFM). It may sound complicated, but is really quite simple and takes about 20 minutes to perform. Injecting the PRFM can take as little as 10-20 minutes depending upon the area you want to have treated. The injections add volume by stimulating your own collagen production and cell migration to fill lines, folds and wrinkles. The improvement is subtle and natural. The process takes about 3 weeks from the date of injection to become visible. Results can last up to 18 months.
